Creative Coding with imagiCharm
August 10 - August 14 @ 1pm - 3pm CDT
Use creative coding in python to customize your imagiCharm accessory. With our partner imagiLabs, express yourself with code to display designs, animations or secret messages to friends! Use the visual app to continue learning to create, get inspired and collaborate. Participants receive their own imagiCharm to code.
The cost of the imagiCharm is included, a $78 value. It’s a perfect back to school backpack accessory!
About imagiLabs
imagiLabs equips girls to create with technology and join a movement to shape the future. imagiLabs was founded by Dora and Beatrice in 2017. imagiCharm CEO Dora Palfi wants to give girls coding “superpowers” to help close the gender gap in tech.
This is their second venture, following the weSTEM (women empowered in STEM) student club we founded at NYU Abu Dhabi. Dora has a background in Human-Computer Interaction and Entrepreneurship. She brings a user centred design approach to the heart of the company. Beatrice has studied Electrical Engineering and Machine learning and is the master of precision and perfection. Paula, who was the first member joining weSTEM at NYUAD has been lead developer since September 2018. imagiLabs started from a user centred research project as part of Dora’s MSc studies in 2016.
